Our annual Turtle Trot 5k will now be known as the Doug Stuber Memorial Turtle Trot 5k. Doug was a major contributor to the preservation of sea turtles and worked hard for the Amelia Island Sea Turtle Watch organization to bring awareness to the public. More details on his legacy will be posted on our website in the near future.

 

REGISTRATION & FEES

$30 thru day of race; $25.00 per person for A.I.R. and Florida Strider Members,  $10.00 per child for the 1-Mile Kid’s Fun Run $10 after Sept 21st. (Cotton T Shirts for Kids).  - join the club and save!)   

 

 Pre-Registration: Easy to register on Active.Com, just enter: “Turtle Trot” in Search.

You may drop off entries at Current Running, 815 S. 8th St., OR you may also mail entries to Amelia Island Runners, P.O. Box 15322, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035.  Pre-registration closes Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Day of Race Registration: Begins at 8:00 a.m. at Main Beach Park. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE

ACCEPTED AFTER 8:45 a.m. THE DAY OF THE RACE. Please register early. You must wear a bib to be included in the race results.

Awards: Finisher medals for all 5K participants. 5K Age Group Awards for Both Male and Female.  Overall, Masters, and Three Deep Age Group Awards.

 

Only Pre-Registered Runners by September 21 are Guaranteed a Shirt

2. RACE DAY MORNING MAIN BEACH AT 8:00 A.M.

 

SWAG:

Performance Tank tops will be guaranteed to all 5K runners who PRE-REGISTER by September 21!

All 5K finishers will receive a finishers medal.

Race starts and ends on the beach at Main Beach Park (corner of Atlantic Ave and S. Fletcher Ave). 

 

Out and back course with walkers welcomed! 

 

Water available at start, 1-Mile, 2-Mile and finish.

 

Please don’t run/walk on the sand dunes.

 

Low tide during race.

 

No refunds, duplicate awards or walk awards.

 

FREE Parking at Main Beach Park.
